      In the summer of 1994, Terrel's dream came true when he found a stand of 150-year-old pine timber that he would use to build his first log home. In Spring 1995, he began construction and used that lumber for every part of the home, from the flooring and doors to the cabinets and ceiling boards. That first home was completed in Spring 1996 and was a true Cracker-style log home, exceeding all expectations. It was even featured in the August-September 1997 issue of Log Home Design magazine. As a result, Terrel recognized that his Cracker-style log home would be something that other homeowners would appreciate. Today, Cracker Style Log Homes is a company that offers a range of excellent floor plan options and a full line of logs, lumber, and flooring products to the public. Cracker Style Log Homes even has its own milling facility that offers custom sawing, drying, and milling.
