Cogdill Builders of Florida, Inc., quite simply, draws your plans and builds your home, bringing your vision of the perfect custom dream home to life. Since 2003, Cogdill Builders of Florida has pursued home-building and specialty design-build projects throughout the Tampa Bay and Central Florida area. However, Mike Cogdill, owner of Cogdill Builders of Florida, has roots in Florida’s residential construction industry that go far deeper. Mike Cogdill is a 4th-generation Floridian raised in a Florida construction family. He spent most of his summers working on home construction projects in Jacksonville with his father’s company throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. There, Mike worked alongside veteran construction workers who exposed him to a solid work ethic and an appreciation of the accomplishment of a job well done. That set the stage for a life dedicated to the construction industry. Mike followed in his dad’s footsteps and received a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

Mike Cogdill personally guarantees that each Cogdill Builders of Florida customer will be extremely satisfied with the services offered and the results delivered. After many years of work in industrial construction and engineering, Mike returned to his roots in 2000 and went back to the family business to refocus on residential home construction. In 2003, he launched his very own custom home construction firm. While the industrial construction business provided Mike with a high level of accomplishment, it was no substitute for the satisfaction he felt after designing and building a new home for one of his clients and handing over the keys for the first time. Mike appreciates the personal satisfaction he gets from designing homes, organizing subcontractors and suppliers, running heavy equipment, and making dreams come true.
