Frame of reference - rated as a large scale, tract home developer. Basic construction quality in our development is excellent. YMMV, depending on state/region. Base finishes/appliances are what you would expect, but the design studio is a very valuable feature of the process, where you add options, and has a good number of choices. Expect to budget at least 50K though, if you want to upgrade to better quality components. If you are going to go higher end, additional 80-100K should be planned. As you would expect, there is not a lot of flexibility in the build process outside of provided options for elevations, paint color scheme, etc., but there is a good amount of flexibility in the choices available for furnishing through the studio. All staff we interacted with during build and mortgage process were easy to work with and professional. Post-possession, customer service has been highly responsive and generally quite helpful. My home is beautiful and was very well built. In the first 45 days my list of very minor items that needed to be addressed were taken seriously, addressed immediately and coordinated well with me on timing to get the work done. Garret has been on the spot to get things completed to my satisfaction. Again, these were very minor issues in my situation but they were addressed quickly and professionally! Thanks Garret and thanks KB Homes!

Efficient, conscientious and perfect service

The entire experience was second to none. We had excellent service with our agent Alex. He kept us up to date weekly with the building of our home either by text messages, pictures, or both. He explained the process very well and was knowledgeable. Our relationship with the finance team was outstanding. Rui walked us thru the prequalification process and explained every step with great detail. After she left, we had great customer service with Christina and Michelle. They made assisted us in explaining anything that may have concerned us. Our building superintendent John has been great in walking us thru the house during the build and after and getting things fixed to our satisfaction.
