KB Homes was really transparent and communicative from the very beginning. They have many design options and a fantastic design center. What I liked most was the communication throughout the building process. I would highly recommend KB to anyone.

My first time home buying expierence was phenomenal. I was fortunate to meet Kevin at West Canyon Trails at just the right time. He guided me into making some excellent choices. The process had its ups and downs but I trusted my team and the did not disappoint. I've been in my new house for about 1 1/2 months, we are over the moon! We look forward to making this house our home. I would not trade my journey with KB Homes for anything!

I recently moved into my new home built by KB Homes, and I could not be happier with the quality and craftsmanship. The attention to detail and beautiful design exceeded my expectations. When we got the home we love it. We were so anxious to move in that we agreed to let some things to get done after. It’s been over a month, almost two and we keep asking when things will get completed. We see that almost all the houses in the neighborhood have been sold and we are afraid that it will never get completed. I have spoken with the persons in charge and they keep telling me, tomorrow or this week but it’s not getting done. I want to elevate my concerns, not complains to higher up, but not sure if I should keep waiting a bit more, I’ll give them till the first few days of October to see if things get done, if not, I will have to do it. The KB team did a great job in keeping us informed on our new construction progress. Although KB financing had a few speed bumps, still glad we went through it and am now enjoying a brand new home that we had built! Overall, positive experience, but stay involved throughout the process!

The home buying process was pretty smooth. I appreciated all the actors throughout the process providing excellent customer service & responsiveness to any inquiries I posed. I am quite disappointed that the 2019 taxes were passed on to me for the four months prior to my closing. As a disabled veteran I claim homestead exemption yet I have to pay for a tax that the seller should have incurred. Although not deceptive, I do think it was a bit underhanded for them to pass that tax off to me instead of paying it outright to the city. Especially for a house I didn’t occupy for the assessed months.

This was not our first rodeo. This was our third home and we knew exactly what we wanted and knew how the process should work. The process with KB home and its employees was fine. A few things here and there could’ve been improved upon, like clear, timely and concise communication, but we handled it as best we could. However KBHS home loans was a nightmare. We dealt with unprofessionalism when we were called by a seemingly intoxicated agent at 9:30pm on a Sunday. Then we got a new agent who was much better than the first, but still couldn’t answer our questions which lead us to making four different trips to the bank to get a Gift Letter four different ways because every time we were told it was okay, then for it to come back and us be told it needed something else. Even the bank was blown away and said they’d never had so many issues doing a Gift Letter in the past. It was such a mess and really made our experience negative at the end when we should’ve been the most excited. The house is gorgeous, not sure of the quality of the materials and of course everything in the design center is way overpriced, but there are options for all budgets which we thought was really nice. We hate that there is an HOA that seems very overbearing at this point. One lady in the neighborhood said when she was buying, they told her there was no HOA, then once she was in, one was formed. Make sure you know for sure or get something in writing if that’s important to you. All in all, every neighborhood has positives and negatives, you just have to do your research and decide if the negatives are something you can live with. We didn't get to go through the whole experience from beginning to end because we bought an inventory home. Everything was great except the fact that we never talked to the Construction Manager until 2 weeks before closing. The salesmen was wonderful and called us every week. But we are enjoying the home.

Overall the experience was good. From the sales team to the builders. The quality of work could be better, but that has more to do with the speed at which these houses in the area are being built. Any issues or fixes that I needed were addressed quickly any time I asked. Overall good experience.

This is my 3rd KB Home. This home was a "Move in ready" and was just what we were looking for, but the Customer service "after the sale" has been awful. There was things that were "supposed" to be things done to the home for us prior to us moving in...they were not...and still have not been taken care of Yet. Very disappointing. We actually feel like we were "Hustled" by a used car salesman.

Was expecting a better built home, the quality on overall house is a 6.8/10. Later noticed cooked walls and trims. The walls had patches where it didn't have semi gloss paint. The driveway is crooked, some areas needed cracks to be filled. The doors to the garage doesn't fully close. The area where my security system is supposed to be had time so HomePro has to find where else to put it.

Experience was pretty good. I think the builders can pay more attention to detail on items inside home (back splash, base boards, arches, tiling). All the items I mentioned were off and never corrected. Sod was laid over rocks, carpet has a rock or hard item underneath it in the bedroom. Once we moved in it was hard to get in contact with anyone about our issues. Some issues still haven’t been resolved.

Purchasing my KB home had highs and lows. The highs was my loan officer and sales person. I had a really good experience. The lows where the changing in superintendents and lack of response. Even now the warranty repairs are taking such a long time to address. It is really frustrating. Jeremy and Antone are pretty good but Jeremy came at the end. I appreciate his efforts. But my family was really hurt by the constant delaying of closing. At one point we had 3 days to close and then the close was pushed. That creates an homeless situation for my family and I.

Had to give a bad review before we could get a response to issues that needed to be addressed. Project Manager and Asst. Project Manager were not on the same page as one would say one thing about the work that need to be done and the other would say something else. They gave you the feeling that when you called about a problem that needed to be addressed that you were only a complainer.

Besides what I just indicated the construction part of the experience I would hope K B has a more hands on approach rather let things come to a stop before someone did something to fix the problems. Its called Management oversight.

Everything was good until we closed. Now there's minimal response to issues. Repaired a window and they said they would come back out to do the paint. Been waiting on paint for over a month. Still no word on when the people are coming to paint the window that they did repairs on. Oven quit working less than 2 months in the house. The number left to me for warranty repairs isn't valid anymore. Just like most other companies they'll do what it takes until the sale closes then you're on your own.

Beginning with getting pre-approval through KB Homes the rep failed to do diligent work and could not get me pre-qualified for VA loan. However, outside loan servicer was able to easily do a qualification for the loan then incentives through Kb Homes were promised and it took multiple levels of leadership to approve this. Closing was pushed twice because Supertindent made promises to complete all work identified in the final walkthrough prior to closing and that did not happen. Currently still trying to get the work done from issues identified in final walkthrough prior to closing. All work that was completed prior to closing was very poor and the overall construction of the house has terrible finishing work that illustrates laziness in contractors and a bad process for ensuring quality assurance. Overall I would rate the experience as terrible at every level of service besides Adrian being polite, professional and proficient at his duties ... More
