Unfortunately this time around, buying lennar was not a legendary experience. Lots of delays, cancel inspection without prior notifications, final closing postponed x3-4 times. Too many Customer care representatives and no one up front to attend the customer concerns.. Do want to thank Mrs Oliveira from title/closing for her professionalism and Mr Mike McCarthy for his attention to detail.

Hello. I would equate my buying experience with Lennar to be average. Closing was delayed multiple times due to obvious supply chain issues. Communication was above average but the attention to detail in the construction of my home was lacking. Cleanliness was a problem and Multiple punch list issues were recorded AFTER my closing with no clear direction on how they would be addressed. I am not local so email or phone calls are critical in understanding issues going on with our home purchase. Setting up utilities took some figuring out. Would be nice to have a welcome aboard packet for new home buyers to outline everything we need to be aware of when purchasing with Lennar and ChampionsGate gate community. ... More

Lennar needs to follow up on punch list and do in a timely matter ,the house had a lots of unfinished touch ups .lennar needs to a better final walk thru before customer takes home.

I'd like a Lennar representative to call me and discuss some of the issues in my new home. It is not fair to deliver a finished product product like my house. Thank you.

As a realtor in another state, I was surprised with the quality of Lennar here in Tampa. We expected much more than what we received. Comparing the quality and finishing of new homes in Houston and Orlando, the quality and attention to details here are far away from the standard of Lennar in those areas. New in town, we decided to give it a try to Lennar instead of DR Horton (our previous home was DR Horton) and wasn't impressed at all. House is spacious and comfortable with great layout, but the quality of materials and finishing are cheap. Attention to details and finishing of the house is poor. House was turned to us in a need of a deep cleaning, windows still with paint and concrete dust, floors with grout and paint stain, carpets with paint, ceiling fans poor installed, door frames missing caulking on the top of the doors, location of the towel rack over the sinks instead of near the bathtubs. During the inspection (that was a pain to coordinate) we pointed out the stain and roughness of the main porch and garage and the response was that it was a rough area. Garage was fixed but front porch not. That's the main entrance of the house!!!! The mortgage process with Lennar mortgage was very easy and efficient. The actual process after moving in became a nightmare for us dealing with customer service and quality of workmanship. If you sign off on issues that you notice on your walk thru before your closing, you will most likely encounter all sorts of problems trying to get things repaired. Most of our issues have since been resolved after numerous complaints being sent to Lennar.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

The financial and closing experiences were far below our expectations. The walk thru was done the week before closing and only a few of the issues were resolved before we moved in.

Lennars sales personnel is great. Unfortunately that's where it ends. It must be the material and labor shortage because the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired we have been in this house for nearly two months now and are still waiting for the work to be completed.(front door and frame along with all the closet doors and cabinets has to be replaced inside the house has to be repainted)I hope this is not the Lennars MO if it is I believe your reputation will suffer

The experience was not good and that’s being kind. The mortgage person had no idea what was going on. The setup of the first 3 homes upon moving in left use not knowing who any of the utilities where going to be we had to figure it out ourselves. 2 month later we where able to get internet but are still waiting for mailbox’s. And the craftsmanship shows that everything was just slapped together as fast as possible and getting someone to fix the issues was a waste of time I have done most of what I asked to be done myself. And the house was filthy for buying a brand new home.

The buying experience was great but I have lots of issues with the construction side..

Felt there was no pride in the craftsmanship and that the house was rushed for a completion date. To have things looked at or fixed, you have to call incessantly. Overall we have a very nice home but the process has been full of headaches and challenges.

To summarize, I have bought 2 properties with Lennar, in the first one I had problems but I thought it was an exception but in the second time I had problems again so I finally decided to file a service request or complaint, that was more than a month ago and I still have not received response even though I sent it again due to the lack of response. It was addressed to customer service and the person responsible for that area. I hope that these surveys are reviewed and activate improvement processes and customer responses. thank you so much

its been 2 months since my closing, i have tried numerous times talking with paul lacy construction manager regarding the paint all over my driveway they haven't replaced them to this day , getting ready to hire my attourney

Lack of communication and closed on house with a lot of issues!!!

Too many issues with workmanship and response to repairs.

Our first thought is, there was no attention to detail. Very poor quality and workmanship. It seemed to us that the general contractor did not do any walkthroughs. Prior to closing we did our own inspection, there was missing insulation (completely missing from the front of the house) and the electrical box was not grounded, two major issues, which we wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t because of our inspection. We noticed a lot of imperfections on our walls, floors, paint, dry wall and ceilings. They are putting these homes up “fast” and not ensuring quality at all. With that said, our closing was delayed almost three months. After closing we have had leak issues and grading issues, to name a few. Customer service is spotty at best and can be unresponsive at times. Closing was a complete chaos (we used the builders company) and a total disappointment, worse part of the whole process. After a dog-eat-dog approach to commandeering a home in this subdivision the work preformed for the value is subpar. Multiple neighbors and I have had things break within the first 30 days (lights falling out of celilings, towel racks coming out of the walls etc). Also the paint within the home is so thinly applied that if you wipe it you will meet drywall. All indoor walls must be painted after move in to support the structure of the home. I would also always encourage any home buyer to pay for a private home inspection prior to closing.

I expected a much more pleasant first time home buyer experience. There was a lack of transparency, honesty, and I wish the process would have gone smoother. I love being in my home, however, certain issues could have been communicated more clearly and handled better. Quality over quantity!

I am really upset that yall gave all our neighbors a welcome sign and red carper and we gone none. This was my first time buying a home and that actually made me sad and unwelcome

They are building houses so quick that details get missed and stuff doesn't get finished. Contractors miss follow up appointments also

In good faith, I wouldn’t use Lennar as my home builder again. I’ve been in my home for four months and I’m still waiting to have construction issues resolved. Too stressful.

I think the workmanship is very poor quality I have had way to many problems to be in a brand new home it’s a nightmare but I can say that everything is being taken care of but if it was built right from start I would not have to be writing about it I came to Lennar for quality and I am disappointed.

the finishes of the houses are of very low quality in my inspection I found many details which to see bought a new house are unavailable
