Months of appts to fix craftsmanship

It has taken about 20 separate visits over the course of 3 months, from the building to complete items that were either not completed or done incorrectly and its still not finished.

The final product could be more cleaner very low level

The process was great and there helpful but the guys they got making these home they do a horrible job with the details is very sloppy and not clean.

We have been living in the residence for a month and a half and there is still an unpainted door, we have not been given the door lock to the garage and the worst thing is that nobody answers our calls or e-mails. After the closing, they play the fool.

Unfortunately was not a good experience in the buy and all processes. I received my house with several problems and poor quality in the finish of the house, paint, wood etc

We had a rough experience from start to finish. I highly recommend being patient with the team as behind the scenes; they are working with a whole town of issues from third parties errors and neglect. I feel it's more on the contractors than Lennar themselves. Rest assured, Tony from our area has empathy and will work hard to make sure the issues get resolved. It takes some time. Our turnaround for matters to be resolved is about 30 days or less. We are shocked to see a new home is in such poor condition and has so many shortcuts, which lead to other issues. Over all my experience with Lennar was not so good as I expected. Everyone wants to buy a house at least in so good condition as seen visiting demo house. But unfortunatelly Lennar has a lot space for improvement... Twice was changed the closing date...it costs me, of course. I was shocked for the amount of undone jobs and broken materials, building materials were laying all around house, unclean pool, unpainted walls, unfinished frontyard etc. during New Home Orientation. Construction Team doesn’t care about the customer

The sales and finance teams were great, however, the construction team was far from it. It appears that they were on a mission to build our home as quickly as possible without consideration to quality or the customer. We went into the house every week that it was under construction. When we saw things that weren’t right or could be better, we notified our sales rep. He passed our thoughts or concerns to the construction team. Substandard Workmanship Overall

Purchased a "Ready Home" in Solterra Springs that was not ready. There were missing doors, painting that needed to be done, and substandard workmanship overall. There are carpet staples popping up all over the edges of the carpeting. Quality control seems to be an issue.

Run and buy a 3-5 year old home instead.

Avoid new home builds. Too many corners cut and materials are of poor quality. Our backyard is disappearing with each downpour as they failed to grade the property appropriately. Too many people are only worried about their bonus and not the quality of the product they sell. Buyer Beware. Buy used as someone else has repaired what the builder failed to repair.

Not a great overall experience. Our New home consultant Ainsley was amazing! Everyone/thing else has just not been great. Unorganized, a lot misinformation. This review is after 2 months living in the home and still dealing with issues.

New home not move in ready

We purchased our home sight unseen and just got the virtual walk thru since there were no models available to view. At our first walk thru there were a lot of items that needed to be fixed or repaired. I was assured they would be fixed by closing in 7 days. I had to wire the money before closing so it would be funded. Lennar extended closing by a week so we had to pay for additional housing. The day before closing we did our final walk thru. The blue tape was still everywhere and not move in ready at all. We were assured everything would get done with no questions asked after the fact. ...

Things they could have fixed during building and and before closing, was not done. Instead they moved it to a warranty issue that has taken way to much of our time and an added mess that could have all been avoided.

This is actually a really good efficient home, the problem is the finish work is horrible. They really need to have strong leaders to hold their sub contractors to a higher standard. You just can't push everything off to warranty and inconvenience the new home owner that have to wait on contractors to show up, if they show up and the extra mess it causes after you have already moved in. We love our home we really do great layout energy efficient, but all the extra time and mess to go through after you close is ridiculous. There were many issues to be resolved, not all of which were completed to our satisfaction. The standard answer to our issues was “It meets code” even though we did not agree and could show it was different to plan. For new home buyers, make sure you watch every stage of the development and take someone who understands home construction with you on your walk through so that you pick up all the issues.

A lot of sloppy work done in this house

There were no lights fixtures in any of the bedrooms no towel bars in any of the bathrooms the painting was sloppy the cocking & plater was sloppy I expected more for as much as this house cost

You can`t see your head in front of you at night and the houses don`t come with outside garage lights. The sprinkler system isn`t set to spray the grass in places. The yard itself isn`t level and lumpy all over. Brand new community with renters already. Mail box issues from day one. I`m not a fan at this point.

The full process is a pain, from the sales agent, unresponsive, to the closing. I still have some unresolved issues. Only the two o three people in the CUstomer Service area, like Mr Delgado, communicated with me and tried to solve some major issues

We were out of state buyers. I wouldn’t recommend using Lennar if you are in a similar situation. They are not equipped to handle you properly.

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

I would never recommend this builder to anyone because they sacrifice quality for quantity. I’ve never experienced anything like I have with Lennar. It’s sad that no one even seems to care.

Lennar home purchase Bartow

The process of picking out and paying for the home was simple enough however the contact for using lennar mortgage and getting the unfinished work completed has been another story. Lennar pushes incentives to close quicker but did not use them, I ask to buy down the rate but all they did was 1/8 point leaving over $10k of incentive unused. The other item pushing the close was that the property was unfinished and I have yet to hear back on when it will be completed. Lennar needs to have better customer service!

It was shared with us that our closing date was moved up due to Lennar’s goal to have 12 homes completed for the quarter. As a consequence, the home was not prepared for the final walk through due to incomplete or poorly completed work. Our realtor had to intervene on our behalf several times to ensure we were sold a home safe enough for occupancy.
