The people in the field are great. Sales man. General Cobtractors. Have to deal with corporate you will find they quickly don’t care. Good luck reaching one of them.

Bad timing! Signed a purchase agreement in June for a new home to be ready in November. Hurricane hit in September; some damage to the house but salvageable. Flew down for inspection in mid-December for a late December close; found too many problems for a punch list (no A/C, no refrigerator, lots of finish issues). Salesman had moved on to another development. Closed late December (so Lennar could book the sale in 2022). Moved in on January 1. Found much of builders support team not available until days after holiday. Gradually getting things fixed (now 6 weeks after move-in). ...

Poor Communication -- Right hand not knowing what the Left hand is doing

Communication throughout the process was poor. On the scheduled closing day, Lennar could not even communicate whether or not we were actually going to close on that day -- which was extremely frustrating. We learned the hard way that Lennar rushed to complete the project and some short cuts were taken -- which are still being addressed.

At the direction of the contractor, items were changed or removed because of supply issues? and this was nor communicated in all circumstances to us. We are missing items in our home that were included in the sales process but not installed prior to a "hurried" closing,

The biggest disappointment was the condition of the condo at closing. There were no kitchen or laundry appliances installed, one toilet didn’t work, no electric switch in MB, needed painting and dirty. It took 3 days before we could consider moving in. This seems to be the norm- close the deal then race like crazy to make it liveable. No apologies- that’s just the way it is. After 6 weeks of waiting for an electrician to fix the light switch on the MB counter, we went out and hired our own electrician to fix it. I am being kind with my ratings. We still wait for things to be fixed but no one ...

Once we purchased the Home, you are no longer important. Make sure that the home they way it is supposed to be because once you move in you are on your own. You can complain as much as you want there is no urgency in fixing anything. We moved in to the Home end of June and now it is December the items we complained about prior to the move in have yet to be fixed. Get everything in writing when you purchase the Home since the Sales guy from Lennar promises a lot but delivers very little

A handful of items were not complete at the time builder delivered the home, including the lanai being uninstalled. We brought up the issue a week before closing and nothing was done to address our concern. We were asked to close despite the home being incomplete at the time of delivery.

Beautiful location. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the product. Windows don't close properly, closet doors are not hung properly, Thermostat not functioning properly and dryer duct work not properly secured causing a leak. Lennar has responded and we are awaiting repairs.

We were not kept informed during the building process. When we asked our sales person about this he said we lived close by and could keeps tabs on progress ourself. The house was not clean and there were alot of things on punch list not done at closing

Once we gave the final deposit, We could not reach our Lennar person, Alisa. Even on our closing, she was not at the condo to give us the keys as was stated to us. When I reached out, she said they had a new closing team and she was not informed. She never even stopped by the condo to apologize and wish us luck. The gentleman who did receive us was Arthur. Nothing but a salesman!! By that I mean he could have cared less about us. The sale was done and he could have cared less about what we said or how we felt. Sales people were friendly. Pool issues took over a month after closing to resolve. Clubhouse and amenities were to be built by summer of 2021. They have yet to break ground. Response to punch list issues has been prompt. Typical production builder.

Very unsettling not getting towel bar in the bathrooms. Thermostat was not compatible with WiFi when we were told many times it was we had to dog it with the Ac company to get it resolved ( had to change thermostat)?Chris did help us reimbursed. The soil has many rocks and construction materials in the soil. No light in the pantry. No support with smart appliances, door and ring setups. The dinning room light outlet box was not center to the room we had to pay to have it corrected. All and all it was a frustrating experience.

Our purchase experience with Nate was very good. He was very attentive, personable and responsive. The lack of choice in materials selection was an issue. We found multiple metals used for fixtures rather than just one, i.e. mixture of brushed nickel and chrome versus just one. Examples of poor workmanship are everywhere. They used caulk to keep pavers in place on front stoop versus using cement. Painters are sloppy. Light fixtures weren’t reinstalled after painting. Numerous holes exist in installed sod lawn. We bought the model home and it was listed with a pool heater for hot tub and pool. No heater! It’s been two months since we closed. No garage door openers, ceiling fan and light and living room still doesn’t work! Stove good has lights falling out, landscape is old dirty and dying, this is not acceptable. After a six month delay we are in. The excitement when we first signed contract was quickly diluted by the time we moved in. A lot of having to do things twice. Example, air conditioning vent was damaged yet they installed anyway. We pointed out Bathroom window installed crooked yet they continued to sheet rock and tile only to have to remove the tile and sheet rock to fix the window. We found busted roof tiles, our house had walls and trusses up. On both sides of our house lots were still dirt, yet those two houses were completed and sold before ours. Where Lennar fails is communication. From the day I put my deposit down till I closed (which was about 10 months) I only heard from Lennar when they needed my money. As far as communication with me during the building process there was none..none at all. If I wanted any information I had to call. As far as after I moved in communication did not improve. I would E-mail for information and not hear anything thing back when I turned annoying I was then informed that yes, I received your E-mail but I'm waiting on information. So, no communication at all.

The bones of our house are great but the finish detail is awful. Our agent did a good job working with us but construction and communication regarding the construction was disappointing. There were months when are house just sat there and nothing was done. Then the hurricane hit and the hurricane became the reason for no or slow movement on the house. Once we finally closed and moved into the house, the disappointment continued! Paint and finish work on the house are awful. Multiple interior doors need repaired or replaced. the closing process seemed rushed...Lennar should allow small upgrades during construction...ie Noseeum screens...light fixtures etc
