Our house was a good price for what we got. The style is modern and up to date. Just hoping that the amenities center and dog park open soon.

Great development but much you can customize.

I have had a good experience with Lennar representatives. A current problem is being corrected and the communication is in a timely manner. The homebuying process was good.

Our experience during the purchase process was excellent. For the most part, the pinch list process went well, however there are a few things lagging. It remains to be seen how quickly they will be resolved

Craftsmanship was not of the same quality of the first Lennar home we purchases. The process felt rushed with our walk through taking place before house was finished. There were numerous finishing issues including places where spackling needs to be redone and painting was not complete.

Other than no response to that, we have had a great experience. Don't tell us that will be handled in w weeks and we are still waiting 2 months later.

Foreman and crews changed constantly can be an issue for lack of communication and mistakes. This is still a work in progress so we will leave it at that for now. Every person I worked with in the process from sales to construction to closing was a professional doing the best they could in this environment.

Responsiveness to issues has been a problem.

Make sure everything is in order and done before you move in. Pay attention during the walkthrough. Once you move in, it’s difficult to get them to come back to fix anything.

I am very disappointed, with quality house.. the floors leaking glue… don’t have wiring to my lanai light… cable running through my garden.. I spent already 10,000 just to make that little bit better.. my front door has quarter inch opening on the bottom.. wind and dust go through it make loud noise… Any those issues.. I discuss with manager …. Nobody care .. I talk to neighbors they have same problem if not worst.

Having a new home built can be a frustrating and at times downright an emotional journey. In the past we have bought new from another large national builder. As a direct comparison I feel overall Lennar is a better value and gives you a bit more quality components. Things like Low E Glass, Tile Back Splash, Screened Lanai where other builders did not. Our upgraded gourmet kitchen looks and feels quality. We are glad we took that option. Same with bathrooms With that said, like almost any builder, at least the large ones, quality is all over the board in regards to the specific contractors that are used and Lennars own staff who draw up the actual plans. We have had some funky, issues, doors that dont align properly or better said just not as they should be, horrible cement driveway, electrical outlets and tv outlets in places that make no sense, for example what good was a TV outlet behind the master bedroom door? Then another TV outlet placed outside in the Lanai but missing in the main entertaining room of the house, the family room. A telephone jack that was behind the kitchen tile. The fit and finish on our French doors are far from quality do to messed up installation and painting they remain that way. (we didnt call Lennar on this yet) The bottom line is this stuff should not happen but it does and it does because I feel the pressure is on to get these homes closed ASAP. With that said, believe it or not, the above issues are not deal killers, these things can happen with any new home, after all homes are built one by one and the structure itself is good, just annoying sloppy work and or careless by some contractors and although the construction manager is nice we felt left a little out in the cold. Ok, with all the above said, would I recommend Lennar to a friend? YES WHY? because this stuff happens, the structure is good and HERE IS THE KEY. Lennars warranty people and system are TOP NOTCH. Absolutely fantastic group of people who try like heck to make things right, keeping in mind they are having the same contractors come back to fix their mistakes. Our cement company was the worst but looks like thanks to our warranty person, is looking like it's been taken care of. This is the key, Lennar is there for us after the sale. The warranty experience and follow up I feel puts them at the top of the class with respect to ALL builders. So as much as one might think this is a negative review, it really isnt. We do feel without question things should have been addressed during construction and our construction manager addressed our concerns but feel he knew about others that he kept to himself and also feel he is only there to get things done to only an acceptable level and hope we dont notice other stuff. But let me repeat, none of this matters, because any issues after the sale, you can call direct their warranty dept or actually just scan a QR code with your phone, report the issue and the follow up by the warranty department will knock you off you feet, they are that good. I do not like the practice of having one lawyer represent all sides, including the mortgage bank. While it may seem to be convenient, I had no one to speak with during the process when I had questions.

We bought a house is all I can say. The craftsmanship is not there. The Sheetrock and painting is the worst I’ve seen. The paint should be considered as primer and the house really needed painting. If this was my primary home, I would definitely be upset with the overall quality. All I can say is…..we bought a house and there’s nothing extravagant about it. I would definitely never use their mortgage and probably never consider their homes

There is an obvious conflict between the sales/finance team and the construction team. Sales/finance wanted to move ou closing date two weeks earlier to achieve some goal. The construction team was not ready. Many poor quality issues were left incomplete at closing. It took many week to correct most of them and one is still outstanding six weeks after closing.

These Lennar homes are built fast & cheap! Floors on a concrete slab are not level! I installed windows blinds and at the top there's half an inch on either side, while at the bottom, I can't even pull the blind all the way down, so I'll have to cut the bottom blinds. I never thought it was possible to have a window frame that wasn't straight. Well, I discovered I was wrong! There's paint on the linoleum in every room along the baseboards! No time to clean that stuff up - that's on you! Because you don't see the top of each door's molding, they don't paint it! In the walk-through, I asked them to paint it and they said they would. Nope, they didn't. Kitchen faucet looks chrome, but it's actually a hard plastic with chrome paint on it. Wow, is all I have to say. ... More

Everyone I dealt with was polite, The most frustrating thing was the home wasn’t ready when the closing date came, Everything was rushed to get the certificate of occupancy, I still have things on my check list that needs to be completed, I paid cash for my home and complied to all the things that was ask of me, I expect the same from Lennar. I have other friends that are looking for homes in this area and ask me about my buying experience, I drove 300 miles for my first walk thru to look for minor things that would need repair, in my astonishment the house was still in construction, no cabinets, no carpet, no bathroom toilets or cabinets, not painted, etc. Two weeks later the final walk thru a lot had been completed but the kitchen stove wasn’t installed or gas wasn’t on, the heat and air was just being turned on, all this made me very nervous about closing, as I have met some of my neighbors they said their home buying experience was very much the same, I am not sure if you are aware of this on the corporate level, I researched Lennar homes and think I made a good choice when I decided to buy one of your homes, all I am asking is to give me what I paid for, I hope my reviews can help you streamline your home sales experience. ... Many items were not completed until after closing. Three months later and we're still waiting for a lamp post. For those things that have been done post-closing, we had to wait weeks for a response.

Went to closing being told I had a surplus and would be receiving a check instead at closing was told I owed over a Grand.

The home is OK but you can tell that they use base home building items with NO extras. Lennar would not allow any modifications and the quality of the home is average to below average

Get an independent home inspection done, it will be worth every penny.

The quality on the finish was not good at all. We are still trying to get things completed 2 months later.

If I need to be asked then Lennar is out of touch

Great first home (bc first time homebuyers don't know better). If you're thinking of buying a Lennar home as your 2nd, 3rd or forever home.. forget about it, you will drive yourself crazy noticing all of the shoddy workmanship and fighting with them to get things corrected in a timely fashion. Their lender is not for the faint of heart either, prepare to be bullied into submission and have your queries go unanswered.

The process went fairly well until closing. Gutters were suppose to be included as an option and we emphatically told the sales person doing the final contract we wanted them. We had even had a specific discussion about that when we were first looking at Lennar homes. We were assured by the sales person we could get them as an option on homes in Brunswick Plantation. He accidentally forgot to mark them off on the final options list. We were buying out of state so could not come down to see it until closing. No gutters and because it wasn't on the final option list (not our fault because the omission was done by Lennar sales person). So we have no gutters only occupied house on street without gutters plus 3 other connecting streets). Lennar will do nothing about it since it is after closing. Their error not ours and they will not reimburse or give us something to assist us with getting gutters. We assumed the gutter option was always included in the final price. AGAIN Lennar's staff's error not ours. Upper/supervisor staff did not respond to our initial inquiries until 7 weeks after closing and sending her 4 emails. She only replied with a very short and curt "not on final option list, so no gutters. Sorry for the omission." Still no resolution from Lennar upper management. Very poor customer service from "sales representatives". The building supervisor in Brunswick Plantation Ronnie once he was told about it only last week was very responsive and took it up to his upper management as he noted we are the only house without gutters on the street. He got a similar response "gutters were not checked off on the options sheet". Again, we would not be so upset BUT we specifically discussed it at our first meeting looking at Lennar Homes in Brunswick Plantation and also during the final purchase session. The sales person knew we wanted the gutter option and it is not our fault he forgot to check if off when doing the final purchase agreement. Again, we assumed it was included due to the specific previous discussions we had with the sales rep and felt it was important to have gutters on a home. We assumed it was part of the final price of the home!!!!! We have no complaints with the building/construction staff members. They have been very responsive to all issues. It is the sales staff that is not responsive, nor helpful, nor CORRECTING THEIR error!! ... More
