House plans are far better than other builders

Pulte has a great team at every division. It is one stop shop for home buyers. They took care of mortgage and insurance as well. It would be nice if the houses/rooms are sound proof. Even a small noise in the living room or any other room can be heard the entire house. They have good team who are pretty responsive and takes care of the issues that we encounter after moving in/warranty period.

Garage & Elevator problem

Elevator, Trash Chute & Garbage has been such a problem I really hope these issues are not recurrences I suggested Dartmouth to have security be omovein furnitures. The Garage vent is broken, all happened in Building 5. The next building that is being done can, I would like to suggest Pulte to have 1 unit that is WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE (which means) lower kitchen sink, stove, cabinets & bathroom vanity the shower is perfect. Quality is not worth the price A/C units should be on the roof for noise control not on your porch Hot water system should be circulating and not wasting water and time waiting for hot water

Could have left the only wall space in the bathroom clear so you could put a cabinet Instead of the towel rack. Make the washer quieter as it is very noisy and pipes bang against wall. Could have had the dryer door open on the left side. Pay attention to how many times front door jams.

Work with our sales person has been excellent. She was helpful with selections and also with advise about options. She has let us know what was happening during construction and explained the delays. The biggest problem that we had was that when we walked through prior to closing there were many things not finished and no touch up had been done. We were promised that they would be done by closing and nothing was done. For example, our refrigerator was not set up, the washer and dryer not connected, vent covers and covers under the kitchen sink were missing, doors were cracked and split ...

We are disappointed with the quality of the workmanship and the lack of quality control, more than the quality of the materials. I expected the materials to be a little more high end but overall they have been satisfactory. We are making a few uprades and have had to ask for someone to come in to clean up grout on tile, replacement of defective tiles and clean up of glue on hardwood floors, and replacement of stained pieces of hardwood. The sales office staff are terrific. Helpful and honest. The construction staff that completed walkthroughs were terrific as well. Again, helpful and honest. Corporate Pulte is not trustworthy. We worked with the Sales Office to set a closing date. One month later, we heard from our attorney that we were going to be penalized $16k for failing to meet the closing date, ie the date that the condo was supposedly completed. We never received a letter notifying us of a closing date. They justified their actions stating that “the contract stated that we needed to close on the completion date”. ...

Very disappointed in the overall conclusion and move in experience. Also, there should be two elevators in each building not just the one, with the amount of use they get.. Very unorganized. Once in, did not find the cabinetry nor the shower doors to be of good quality. Also, have reached out to have questions answered and no one at the Management company has returned my phone call. Rather dismayed, as I had heard good things about Pulte.

I expected them to be more forthcoming about information of delays in finishing the build. They ignored the fact that people are selling their homes and it is important to have a time frame.

I expected a more quality build. The floor looks like the material was left over from a store. One of the doors didn't latch properly and the bedroom window is leaking quite a bit of air causing the room to be cooler than the rest of the rooms. It is only a one bedroom home so I expect the heat to be very consistent.

While we are mostly happy with our purchase, there are a couple of things that prevent us from giving a glowing review. The plumbing fixtures that were used seem to be low end items. While we expect that there will be some issues with new construction, Pulte's customer service team has been unable to respond quickly or give us a time frame for their team to address the issues.

It is now over two months since the closing and the punch list items still have yet to be addressed. We closed in good faith having been promised that the items would be dealt with quickly. They have not been addressed nor is there a projected time frame when they will be addressed.
