Very nice sales people jeff is great

The overall home buying experience was great with the exception of completion of the final walkthrough punch list. We live up north and Candice our Sales Agent kept us appraised of progress and sent pictures throughout the process. She was extremely helpful in coordinating things for us being our "boots on the ground". I was disappointed having to come back down to the house after the final walkthrough only to find several items not completed. As of this writing, we still have a few things not completed and haven't even been scheduled yet. I'm hopeful when we move in, we'll be able to get these items completed quickly. ... More

This was my FIRST home buying experience and it went fairly easily. The sales team was exceptional, the loan team was okay, the building team was also fine. The loan team had some gaps in communication throughout the process due to their volume of applicants. The construction team also felt pressed for time and breezed through the inspection but they completed most of the adjustments.

If you don’t do any upgrades the quality of material used is very cheap. A lot of simple mistakes are made. Seems like they rush through the process of building these houses. In our experience we had a leak, excess foundation, solar panel box put on wrong, flooring was scratched, carpet was lumpy and you could see the seems, breakers tripping and paint that needed to be redone. They give you a matte finish which scratches and stains very easily. Overall I am happy with my home, just wish everything was done right from the start. Low quality material repair work are to hard to get done bathrooms are ridiculously small very very unsatisfied.

Our closing date was changed twice due to missing electrical and gas meter. Moving my family from the far side of the state, made our experience even worse on so many levels. After the final walkthrough and after we moved in, we noticed a few items that still have not been addressed. For example, we have a temporary oven. Still waiting for the one we ordered, in the laundry room the wrong fuse amp was installed. Its supposed to be 20 amp instead of 15, therefore we haven't washed our clothes going 2 weeks! The laundry room cabinet is partially installed, front porch light is not functioning, in the garage there's cement splatter in the corner, the owners bathroom medicine cabinet neets to be textured and painted. I love my new home and very happy with the lay out and neighborhood.

Not impressed with customer service and constantly having to remind people on how to do their jobs. Horrible at returning texts and phone calls. Disappointed because I thought Richmond was a good and reliable company.

Purchased the home last year, purchase was not very efficient because there was to many people involved. A lot of moving parts in the purchase, which was ok but person helping with purchase did not communicate with us. I had to do a lot of follow up calls to find out delays and problems with build. We initially put down 1000 dollars and told we would get the money back, at the end we did not get it back. It was applied to the purchase price which was not part of the purchase. There was so many problems with the in house lender, starting from problems with uploading documents to the portal to the loan being underfunded by $50.00 which I had to pay through a bank transfer and had to pay $35.00 to close on the house. I do like the house, a few issued with the build, one of the windows leaks, the island in the kitchen has to be fixed and a few other issues. Love the neighborhood. ... More

Home plans at Seasons at Green Valley Ranch by Richmond American Homes to be unique and spacious. The community appears to be well-maintained and welcoming, and I would confidently recommend it to our friends for a visit to the sales office and model home. However, there are areas where I believe the builder could make improvements: 1. The Home American Mortgage department could benefit from enhanced communication practices. 2. It would be helpful for the sales office to provide clearer information about layout differences between model homes and actual homes. 3. I recommend that the Construction/Closing department ensures all items are completed before closing. I experienced delays and had to follow up multiple times, even after the home orientation and closing had occurred. ... More

Multiple issues with the house. Still waiting on builder to fix it.

Sara Jensen did an excellent job from start to finish. But after receiving the keys we ran into some issues and the wait time to resolve them was unfortunate. We still have them and hopefully soon can get them resolved. Other than that we love the area and overall style. Plus the overall feel and look to the home is great. Thanks again Sara for making the experience memorable.

We recently went through the process of purchasing a home, and while there were certainly positive aspects, there were also some significant challenges that we encountered along the way. Let's start with the positives. Firstly, the front office sales team was exemplary. They were consistently cordial, communicative, and attentive to our needs throughout the process. Their professionalism made navigating the initial stages of the purchase relatively smooth. Secondly, securing a mortgage through the lender was surprisingly easy. We appreciated the efficiency and clarity they provided, which made what can often be a daunting process feel manageable. Additionally, the interior design process for the house was unexpectedly enjoyable. It was both fun and informative, allowing us to customize our new space to suit our tastes and preferences. However, our experience was not without its drawbacks. One of the most significant issues we encountered was the misrepresentation of the property. Despite being sold to us as a single-family house, it was, in fact, a single-family condo. This discrepancy wasn't realized until well into our Escrow period, causing confusion and frustration. Furthermore, there were several discrepancies within the house that were not addressed prior to closing. This lack of attention to detail left us feeling disappointed and questioning the thoroughness of the process. Upon moving in, we were dismayed to find the house in a less than desirable condition. It was dirty, with uncleaned counters, muddy footprints on the floor, and dust accumulated throughout. This lack of cleanliness was disappointing and not reflective of the standards we expected. Additionally, the details regarding HOA payments were not fully disclosed to us, leading to uncertainty and confusion regarding our financial obligations. Lastly, we felt rushed throughout the closing process. Instead of feeling confident in our decision, we were left with the impression that closing the deal quickly was prioritized over ensuring our satisfaction as customers. In conclusion, while there were positive aspects to our home purchase experience, such as the professionalism of the sales team, the ease of securing a mortgage, and the enjoyable interior design process, the significant drawbacks, including the misrepresentation of the property, lack of attention to detail, cleanliness issues upon moving in, incomplete disclosure of HOA payments, and the rushed closing process, left us feeling dissatisfied overall. ... Home is fine but since I’ve moved in I feel my warranty service request has been totally ignored. Dishwasher did not work at time of walkthrough and it was noted; but has not been repaired

Multiple issues found prior to closing. Still not resolved. Once contract to buy is signed, it's difficult to get assistance. Staff is friendly, but limited to how they can help the homebuyer.

Builder used poor quality of materials and couldn’t get defect kitchen island countertop and flaw garage door panel replaced soon. All wood material is MDF, not solid wood.

I wish the builder would pay more attention to the details and quality of work. I had unfinished doors and cabinets. The bathroom countertop was scratched quite badly. The rain gutter was missing, I had to point it out and then and it took 4 weeks to get them to install it. After four weeks, I'm still waiting for repairs to be made, such as replacing a damaged door weather strip.

Your in home landor is useless. Please change it. Because of them I am giving bed rating for Richmond.

There are lot of issues haven’t been resolved! I found many many sharp nails under the curtain.My kids were poked by them when stepped on the stair. The screen fell off from the window frame. The door got twisted shape. It’s a horrible house!

we love the city, the community, and the housing styles and brevarde. love our location but the home, the finishing, was rushed too much.. so many things are defective or not done correctly. a few major items also. some are very very negligent that should never have occured unless the team wasn't caring or paying attention. very unprofessional in the finishing items both inside and out. very difficult process to get corrected

Fools plans a well thought out maximizing square footage. But builder will delayed fixing build problems and extremely poor response to fixing issue.

The sales and escrow team were great, but the construction team not so much. I closed escrow a little over a month ago and have yet to get a response or warranty issue taken care of. The quality of work on the kitchen cabinets, the garage walls, and paint throughout the house is very poor. I’m still waiting on someone to acknowledge or resolve the concerns.

While everyone was “nice”, we had an overall horrible experience. From 3 different superintendents to a scam of an experience with Home American mortgage to endless lies and deception to over a month delay to then move in with electrical not working, 20 roof tiles broken, horrible craftsmanship to then no one caring and it taking weeks upon weeks to get responses until we went to corporate to now 2 months after we closed and still an outstanding list of 30+ issues with no resolution. Would avoid Richmond at all costs.

This was the worst experience in regard to communication period. Our agent Mayra shared no concern with my and my wife's concerns to the home purchase. She seemed simply satisfied to getting the signatures required and the deposits then after that she simply disappeared! She made numerous blunders. Not mistakes but huge blunders and wouldn't answer her phone or return messages as needed. When we finally got to move into the house, we had to wait 30 days to receive the builders' incentives appliances. Washer, Dryer and Refrigerator!!! The house is pretty awesome but here we are waiting for the construction issues to be corrected! It seems as though there is no communication among the Richmond employees. No one seems to know who is responsible for what. I'm hoping that soon all construction items will be completed because we have warranty issues cropping up that I am holding on to so as to not confuse these workers.
