Uptown is characterized by its modern architecture, but if you want skip the condo and townhome life, there are other options to choose. State Thomas is a quaint, little enclave with brownstones and brick-lined streets. Travis Academy – also known as the Vanguard for the Academically Talented and Gifted. There are an additional number of public and private schools that offer quality education in the area permitting every child to receive quality education.
