We invite you to the wonderful community of the village of Slinger. Slinger is situated in Washington County, in the southeast of Wisconsin, at an elevation of 1,063 feet. The history of Slinger began in 1857, but at that time, the village was named Schleisingerville, in honor of the settlement founder, Baruch Schleisinger Weil. The village changed its name to Slinger in 1921. The population of the village has had spectacular growth, especially in the last decades and, at the last census, in 2010, reached the number of almost 5,100 residents. To arrive in the village of Slinger, you should follow Interstate 41 which crosses through the village, State Route 60, State Route 164, and State Route 175.
The village of Slinger benefits from many amenities. Education is served by four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, all of which are included in the School District of Slinger.
