In the Kent family, it's a tradition of homebuilding excellence spanning three generations and nearly 60 years. The tradition began with Gregg P. Kent, a Chicago builder and developer who moved to Los Angeles in the 1940s to become a building inspector for the City of Los Angeles. By 1947, he and his wife Peggy had formed the Gregg P.
